    Hi,

I'm new here. I recently bought my first two sovereigns. The 1968 I got from APMEX fits so snugly in the 22 mm airtite direct fit container that it's hard to get out. The 2015 I got from JM Bullion fits slightly loose and is easy to remove. They weigh within .01 grams of each other. Might there be variation in the size between the two or should I be suspicious of one of the coins?

    thanks,
    Bert

The sovereigns may have a slight fractions variation in sizes, as they are not identical. imo

Avoid using Direct Fit Capsules, which may result coin jamming with the capsule.

Best is to use Ring Type Air-Tite capsules or Quadrum Capsules.

    Hope this help ;)

I always use ringed caps for all my Gold coins unless slabbed. I'll be doing the same with all new silver coin purchases when a suitable ringed cap is available.

I prefer the Quadrum capsules. They fit well and they show off the coin.
