    Hi all,

New stacker here, jus wondering if any of you kind souls can give me a rough price and/or grading on these predecimal coins. Also is anyone interested in them ? I have a few. All your info is much appreciated !

I scored a bunch as a gift from my grandad and now it has now got me very interested in stacking, just for a hobby. :)

    Cheers

Not once did I say 'retire' or anything close lol,

$6 im quite happy with actually, $6 x 100 doesn't sound to bad to me for a gift I got....

I saw you making a joke out of another newbie stacker earlier on another thread too, strange dude....

strange that you come here, ask a question that you could have got using ebay sold listings and then turn around and try to rip on the guy who answers your question because you don't like the way he answered it?!?
what is it with "newbies" treating this forum like its siri then getting upset because they are not given the level of service they feel they deserve?!?

This forum is sink or swim lol. You will get used to it, I was bit taken back in the beginning reading some of the comments.

But as you learn a bit more you will be fine.

Those coins are what you call post 46 predecimal. There is a simple calculator on the top of the forum, if you are looking at pricing for silver content.

But note: Depending how long they have been out of circulation ie in your grand dads collection, some could be keepers and some have more value more that silver content, which is posiible.

I guess theres some that are keen to help, teach and explain and others just to make comments....
Not to mention, well known users on the forum were happy to answer my 'novice' questions no matter how silly they seemed when I PM'd them. (remember, you were once in my boat)

$6 for the both is fine, I have over 30oz

Lol. Appreciate your ever so precious time Nugget

Thanks a heaps for your time ipv6,

Wow that calculator is going to come in handy for sure.
Thankyou for the info, ill speak with my grandad also and see if he can help me with the history of the coins ect becuase theres a few worn and newer looking coins.

I agree it does seem that way, we gotta stay afloat round these sharks, to many ego trippers it seems.
At least we learn who and who not to deal with,

    Cheers mate

Ease up on the rookie Hunter.
His "agenda" is to find help learning about something he has acquired.
    Go back to kicking Leon.

PS - Anubis - if you have any pre 1946 items they have a higher silver content (92.5%).
For their spot value as IP mentioned the calculator at top right of forum will help determine a base price for your items
