old bank money/ice cream tins/board games as investment over 20-30yrs

    who thinks your can make some small profit or what not off buying/hoarding old bank tins (commonwealth of australia, etc for the big bank and defunt banks), ice cream tins (devondale, farmland, amscol, etc) and old board games ?

    You can make money on new board games. A game I backed on Kickstarter ( https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/coolminiornot/zombicide-black-plague?ref=nav_search ) for US$100 is currently for sale on eBay for US$150 -200. Not been released to the shops yet and most of the high prices were for games that could be delivered before Christmas but some backers bought 15 games and have already pre sold 11 of them for about twice the original cost. They might find it hard to shift the remaining ones once they hit the shelves but still not a bad little earner.

    I think there is a small window of hype though and if you miss it you will end up with lots of boxes taking up shelf space.
