New show starts this Sunday. It looks like it is entirely based on the retrieval of a billion dollars worth of silver that was lost in a shipwreck long ago. I remember recently hearing that this wreck was found about six months ago roughly.
I think i saw part of the show tonight.. My jaw dropped when i saw all of the silver they found.. I think they said it was worth over 200mil? I think they found 48 tons of silver? I can't remember the exact number
Gutted human remains got in the way of possibly discovering the yellow stuff... But actually quite pleased to see those in charge buried the remains and left the site rather than disturb it. Who'd do that knowing there may be $1 billion worth of gold at the site?
where does all the silver go to ? the fake silver  hard shinny alloyed copper bar after it was cut, those cannon on the sea, just like the pirates movies
it was alright but should have been named "deep sea treasure salvage" cuz the name "silver rush" implied silver mining as with gold rush, but not the case.
Actually, slicing off the top few centimetres so people can get a cut-down bar with all the markings and serial numbers would be cool. Cheaper than a 30kg bar too.
