new $5 on the way

There is a new $5 note to be released in Australia the 1st day of spring. 1st September to commemorate the 50th year of decimal currency. It will feature a different wattle on each denomination and is the first in a new line of notes to be released with improved security measures and textured to assist people that are vision impaired.

Then has the bound into a pad and perforated. That's where his 'printer' comes in.

So they are actually legal tender from the government.

Not sure that I'm a fan of it. The colour of the wattle just seems strange against the rest of the note.

 

The Wattles has already been described as looking like dirty toilet brushes.

 

Its not the picture that is important but the "confidence" in the product.
