Want advice before i make the choice in chasing a lunar 2 set 1oz maybe a 2oz set. I can see a few of the ones i will need in the 1oz lot on a few of the selling sites. Now how hard will to be find some of them an if found what will i be looking at paying. And in the end would it be worth doing with the upcoming ones once all compleat. Cheers Darren...
Depends how many of the low mintages ones you have, There is only two reasons to that 1. increase the value for resale profit. History indicates with lunar 1 series, a set of lunars will be more valuable than the sum of the parts. However if you need to buy some or all of the rare low mintage years, you can lose all your profit, so not making it worth it, unless you hold for a long time, if ever. 2. Personal satisfaction, cost is secondary and if you like the satisfaction of owning a set, than does cost matter. Maybe list individual ones you need and people can Provide feedback on how much some of them are going for.
the s2 lunar 1 oz set is the easiest to find and cheapest to start with the 2 oz mouse hard to find , mouse $400 to $450 ox $ 200 to $250
Cheers for ya replys. Yes prob chasin the harder one to find and what i may pay for em looks to not worth it.
Hey stackers, there a for sale post on the boards for the 1st 8 coins in the lunar 2 set with the ox having markings on it. Ared thery still for sale? Can some one link to it pls i can not find the bloody thing. Cheers Darren
Why not go for all the sizes from 1/2oz to Kilo, including the 1/2 Kilo's? I know Silverslacker (whom I have no affiliation with) has a nice youtube video that is sure to please even the most profound lunar collector!
