Hello Everyone, I am a mid 30's father who quit smoking about 3 weeks ago. I've decided to turn my future problem into a futures investment. I am taking $30 from my weekly cigarette money and turning to Precious metal purchases. I have been reading a lot of material and to be honest maybe too much as information is starting to bleeding together and contradict itself. I will be asking a lot about Silver Coin investments as you have to start from somewhere and Coins look fun and secure. Specifically American Silver Eagles, Canadian Maples and Silver Britannias. My first question is probably be the most important one for me as I have to start somewhere. Is SDBullion a good site to purchase these coins from? They are selling coins for just over $1.95 over spot and they seem to be the cheapest I can get them for. do they have a good reputation? Thank you and it's going to be fun being a part of this community
Welcome, and congrats for quitting smoking. My advice is to consume the $30/week as soon as possible by so you don't have it to spend and return to smoking. Know nothing about SDBullion so will wait/leave it for others to respond.
Quiting smoking is a painful process but an easily necessary one. My wife's family isn't know for living long lives while my family, if we take care of ourselves, easily hit upper 80's. my Grand parents are still kicking while in their 90's and my great grandmother passed at 104. I don't mind the saving the money, it shows progress and returning to smoking it not an option.
If you work out how to give em up let me know. If you want metal at the price you quote buy here. Forget your brand and say no to scammers. Every one else does.
Well done on quitting, smoking literally is burning cash, so buying PM will be a plus no matter what the spot price is in twenty years.
Welcome and congratulations on breaking that habit! You are not alone in having overcoming harmful habits.
Welcome Can you share your pain and relief on kicking the habit , how long have you been off them ? Put that spare cash into a few ounces each week
