24 hours later and it's still not working?

Very sporadic, not working most of the time but then I get the odd open window like now when I can see/post

I've been bedbound with the flu.

Disks filled up with logs/images again - I'm working on a new site, so haven't paid much attention to the server performance on this version. Going to need to trim some old photos.

Would it help if we all started deleting old images from our 'My Upload' page?

    Yes same
    BUT
I used to rave on about NOT using the pic hosting here
    BECAUSE
As GP explained it me many moons ago
That's where his overheads are on the site
Photobucket for all instead I say :D

    Is that true?

Why pay for users to upload images here when we can use imgur etc and just post links for free?

EDIT - And not clog up space causing the forum the pack up like it has

    Am I missing something?

We the users don't pay as such
It costs GP from the advertising ,
This clog up had not happened before like this , except for the DDOS
It has clogged up in the past due to 'old messages " clogging it up

Erm, there may have been an issue with the command used to trim photos. Everything more than 6 years was supposed to have been deleted - but the command cleared everything. Many will still be available in the Amazon cache, and will still show up.

Forum isn't meant to be a personal image repository though.

    Yep, all gone.
Maybe we should all help by deleting all those unnecessary messages - recieved and sent.

    * just noted this was recently suggested.
