I was going through my Engelhard prospectors and noticed I have some 1984 coins with the E reverse, and one with the eagle like the later years. I checked and saw both for sale on ebay so I believe mine are legit (not the proof like ones from China that weigh less than a tr oz). I was wondering if either is more preferred or worth more generally speaking? Thanks for any input! Jim
I picked up one of these 10 oz bars. Mine looks like the one in the photo. Paid $2 over melt per oz. I like these for my long term stash. http://www.apmex.com/product/35534/10-oz-silver-bar-engelhard-wide-pressed Jim
Nice first bar! you can find most info in this website http://allengelhard.com/definitive-pages/ag-16-075oz-class-32-15oz-class/
Found a new type of 1 kg bar. Note the AUSTRALIA stamp that looks the same as that shown on the 5 kg bars Here is a comparison between the "normal" 1 kg bar and the new one.
Saw a 2.5g pendant on eBay so existence of 5g version is not out of the world I guess.. Nevertheless it should be a very rare and interesting piece to show/sell in the forum.
