Dragon Phoenix Tri-Metal #1 and #2

This is very useful information and this is what I like with you guys. You are not only dumping the medal in a single (western) market like some competitors seem to be doing, but it seems you have a balanced and thoughtful distribution in different markets which I find important when doing my investments. It would not make any sense to me to buy something Chinese that is not sold in China. In my many years of stamps collecting such agency issues were banned officially by philatelic organisations, but of course everyone can collect what they want and return of money is not the only enjoyment of coin collecting.

 

I still want a tri-metal dragon and pheonix set!

 

I thought I saw one in one of your videos. Are you looking for a specific one or the whole 6-7 medals in the series?

 

I have tri-metals 3-5 and didn't even know there was a 6!

 

There are seven!

 

I only have 1. The set would be cool, but 7 is a bit much.. lol

 

Having some available in China and some Overseas and some available in both and some pretty much unavailable at any price just adds to the mystique and intrigue of this issue. Thats why its one of my favourite recent issues.

 

I believe each medal can be a regarded as a standalone item with no need to acquire all of them.

However, I like the interplay of colors and combination of metals types across the spectrum of the different medals in that series. That is why I am collecting all of them.

 

Agree, except for a couple they were sold separately, and can be enjoyed separately. They are all good so just pick your favorite. Anyway I think it will be hard to put together a complete set now.

On this I totally agree with you Numistacker!! I think it's a medal that will be discussed 30 years ahead as we do with Pagodas and Goldfish today... We were lucky to be around at the right time.

 

As majority of you who know me that I am lazy. I will give you photo of #1-6 within October 2016.

The swan and mandarin duck silver specimen has done. We yet to decide the minting time and need discussion with mint for production slot too.
