    Hello,

Has anyone put together a list of dimensions (diameter + thickness) & weights of bar most likely to be counterfeit.

For example the 1971,72 Silver Eagle 1 oz bar, I have one that is possibly fake.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

This is part of a report I did to get a refund on some fake pandas.

The weight of the coin is 28.83g and should be 31.1g.
The thickness of the coin is 3.61mm and should be 2.98mm.
The specific gravity (density) is about 7.2 and this should be 10.5 for silver.
