I think I've seen some posts previously about a Brisbane meeting but is there not enough members who are keen to meet in Brissie? If Adelaide have enough interest then surely Brisbane can muster enough interest! (I'm only giving Adelaide crap cause I'm from there and love the place. Go Crows!) I own a few venues in Brisbane that we can meet at. What you reckons?
There were a number of robberies a couple of years back, and I think members were a bit nervous showing their hands of being a stacker. This is my thoughts only I could be mistakeng but its the feeling I got from a few members after the events
Yeah fair enough, bound to make anyone nervous. But surely the threat remains for everyone else meeting in other states. Personally, I have my stuff in storage anyways.
Turn out was high when silver was going up, dropped to around ten or so when silver was tanking. It is a decent day out, chance to meet a few stackers over a pint.
I would be interested in a brisbane meet up thats where those rare round 50's show up. Vote yes from me.
Northside is a definite, Southside I would need to weigh up the journey/venue etc. I am not currently buying or selling and have a lot of work to do in the garden
I have heard the last one-about 2 years ago-was not really a success. all the robberies got something to do with not having meetings but even before those times it was always 3 meetings in any other capital city before brisbane had one... could be the reason we are getting too much sunshine here
Whatever happened to that Scottish "doc" from West End who used to organise the Brissie meetups a few years back and used to run the auctions therein?
