On of the members brought this along to the coin club. Not a radar sadly and neither does it come out as '1337' in decimal otherwise it might have been worth a bit more than face value.
I have been hunting for a radar for years but no luck.the close i got to it is just as it shown in the OP. 1 number off...
Here in the USA - the banks ALLOW employees to swap notes for ones they want. Such BS. These employees can swap notes, and turn around and make huge profits. Pretty messed up if you ask me. Do they not make enough money?!
I thought to be a radar it should read front to back including the 'year' first two decimals. I don't really know anything about notes but will usually check for a binary or radar note since I heard they may be collectible. Can someone who knows about this clarify for me.
Yeah I saw that, was a $5 note. I have put up a note on here and was told it has to include the year otherwise there they aren't as rare. I'll try and find the post
I found myself a polymer $5 note a while ago I put aside - just found it: DC 07088070 There's a few creases in it so I just put it aside. Don't really have any idea how much these go for.
Say what??? Radar?? people actually pay more than face because of a serial number??? Farrrrrrrkkkkkkkkkk............
I have always considered the year in the equation. If the year ain't part of the equation then it does not count. Each to their own of course , but lets just see what sells for the higher $$$$$$'s.
