First time poster - be gentle! ;) I was wondering if anyone knew in what form gold was transported during the Australia's gold rush era, WW1 and WW2?
Presumably during the earlier period it'd be gold dust and, later, sovereigns. I've only ever seen an image of the 1852 Adelaide ingot but wondered what other ingot designs were there and from when where they produced?
    Cheers!

Thanks for the images and link. Greatly appreciated! Does anyone know if there were commonly-poured Australian ingots in the latter half of the 1800s or pre-WW2? Or did they just move around chests of Sovereigns? ;)

No assignment. :| I've just discovered silver/gold stacking is a 'thing' and was curious as to what was possibly still around here in Australia, since antiques are more my angle. cheers
