    Hello all
I'm looking to buy a present for the anchor.
She likes curb style chains and I don't know if it's worth looking at 2nd hand stuff, either 9 or 18ct.
Would I be saving much over buying new from jewellers?
Would it be more trouble than it's worth
Is there any ss member worth contacting for info
    Thanks

I don't like 2nd hand gold chains, from my experience they become brittle and need constant repairing.

Time your purchase for when the jewellery stores have a sale. Get them to weigh the chain for you before you buy, you can then work out whether you are paying too much over spot price for it. In my mind spot x2 or even x3 is okay, I think usually they charge you spot x6 or more as the RRP.
