Curious where this was made, what mint was used? I get its a round but to be honest the strike is not very good.
Hello natsmezz, thanks for your question. These rounds were made by the Golden State Mint. I think the premise of its design and strike was for it to be a pocket round to remind us of the true value of a days labor. I don't believe this design was suppose to have a finished or polished strike and finish. There are proof versions for those who are looking for that perfect specimen. Actually, because of the type of strike, I handle my 1/10 oz rounds freely show them to others, let them hold them as I tell the story of what that tiny piece of silver represented to a laborer for thousands of years.
