Hi all and not sure if this topic may have been discussed earlier Is anyone able to advise if there will be a 2015 carded koala whether the standard BU specium or a coloured card following on from the 2013 and 2014 issue Appreciate any knowledge on this Thanks
http://www.comlaw.gov.au/Details/F2015L da589a98f1 Would agree with above post.....no mention of carded variety Although both bullion varieties have been released......no mention of carded release.
I have made a vid of the 2011 carded Koala on YouTube; pitty they don't continued it, nice packaged; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVeK68bkgbg
Hi Silverman, Definitely no carded Koala any more of any size. PM has confirmed that under item 9 (Dec. 14th, 2014): http://blog.perthmint.com.au/2014/11/04/november-2014-new-product-bulletin-out-today/#comment-4829
Hi This topic reminded me that i have a couple of carded 2011 Koala and Kookaburra World Money Fair Coin Show specials, with a stated mintage of 2000 on the cards. Does anyone have any more info on these, in terms of final confirmed mintage and rarity/value? thx edit: german ebay has a few for 82.50 EUR, on piece in britain for 69.40 EUR, one in Australia for 87.76 EUR, and one set for 99.99 EUR, i must say i'm surprised of the high sales price for this..
@postafoa I have made my one compilation of all existing carded Koalas coins issued by Perth Mint. This compilation is also including the ones issued from Downies (known as green card) and the ones sold by Intnumis (known as packed by Global Promotions): The data have been balanced with Perth Mint and Downies as far as possible. There was no answer from Intnumies about their release figures. I you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
Thanks for the great compilation SilverScrat, Saved. Tells me the full 2000 mintage was achieved. mmm that 2007 carded koala is sweet
@postafoa an @all If you want to have a look at all the carded Koalas then see my picture compilation on a german coin forum: http://forum.silber.de/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=12347&start=855 On the previous page you can see also the 1/10oz carded Koalas incl. the very first one from 2011 Berlin World Fair of Money.
