Here's another variation of the 50 oz. RHA in a circle and no serial number.

I may have someone already taking this, but in case this falls through, I'd be open to offers.

    Morning,

thanks for the lead House, i contacted the team at the site you provided me a link to and they responded with the below answer.

Thank you for the email, the 100oz bar is fantastic. First I've seen and I did add it to the Definitive page for Harrington. I'm estimating the mintage at 2,000 examples and would imagine that 70-80% have been melted over the years. Perhaps more, these old pour bars have a low survival rate from what we've observed with Engelhard and Johnson Matthey.

    Cheers have a great weekend.

I have a few of the 50 and 100 oz harringtons and they are a very imposing bar to look at! Here is what I have found out about Harringtons:

Harringtons were an Australian Refinery based originally in Sydney Australia before expanding into Victoria Australia. The company was first registered in 1923 and ceased production before 1988 when it was taken over by Golden West Refining.

Ebay numbers for my Ebay priced, Ebay harry's: 282084562906 272284273318 282084562904

Saves me uploading a load of pics.

    Danman49,

thanks for the pics and the info, i am sure the guys at the Englehard site linked above would really like a photo of that 100 oz as well as mine. they will prob put it up online and they said to me he had not seen one before and to get evidence of two in one week would be cool i think.

I really like the 10oz and kilo Harrington bars, of which I've managed to pick up a couple since I started stacking. Unfortunately my wallet hasn't quite been able to stretch to a 50oz bar quite yet.

Does anyone know how much rarer the RHA counter stamp is compared to the DCL?

Send them a picture and they will add it, they did it with my Johnson Matthey, it's nice having your own bar on allengelhard. :)
