    Is this a Lunar play? Year of the Monkey turns into apes, not bad but seems like a stretch. Can't wait to see what the year of the chicken, mouse etc look like.

    I don't think so, just using an endangered wildlife emblem on a coin. Pretty sure we will get either an annual "Congo Gorilla" or another Congo-native animal in a series.
