Silver's and gold's price kept dippin'... prolly it will continue to dip. In terms of USD, at least.

This guy made interesting observations... withold and buy later for less? Risky... I know. :)

This is why I switched from monthly purchases to semi annual purchases. Unless we are in a rising market, level or down ward trending bodes better for those who wait.

You won't know until you look back with a years hindsight.
The only thing for certain is that you'll have the cash (assuming you didn't spend it on something else)

I stopped since december 2014, so half a year now.
My reason is the extra silver stocks out there, accumulated during 2008-2011. For sure they will be sold again, and that's quite a price suppressor to come.
Also, my plan was to buy at every same (might skip) and new low, and since my last purchase, the price didnt revisit the previous low yet, in big part due to my weaker euro.
I'll add to the stack when my euro's are stronger again and silver stocks enough sold again, and before those that need a confirmed uptrend to do the same, act. :D

Doing the rough math I would have 100 more ouncesif I waited a year and bought today.

    I like "cull silver"
He has a decent head on his shoulders and seems to be above all the hype and BS associated with it.
He has lots of other vids and some are hilarious.
He likes to take the piss out of some types of stackers and SHTF dreamers.
I highly recommend viewing his stuff, not solely for the silver and gold info BUT JUST GREAT ENTERTAINMENT>

At least half my stack exists because I bought with money on hand. I know that money would have been spent on incidentals had it not gone on silver. Any after the fact analysis has missed the boat for me.

Waiting for some optimal time to buy is gambling, not stacking.

I have stopped making the regular purchases with my SMSF.

I still buy one of each yearly offering for my personal stack and a few to give as gifts, also anything else which looks interesting such as new anti-counterfeiting measures or round stackers etc. I haven't bought any bullion for a while but I have been buying older junk silver when it comes up.

I don't seem to have any extra money lying around though...

My life would feel incomplete :p
I think I would just spend it on something else. Anything else.

    True.

And in fact, this too is a bit of a "dice throwing technique", isn't it?

The May-June "big dip" that I was expecting to happen still isn't in yet. :/

I find him slightly moronic & annoying.

Not always the sharpest tool in the shed, with his "logic."

    No offense, of course. :p

From what I recall, his channel started out pretty well, but then started injecting his thoughts, strategies & philosophies.

Stick to showcasing the coins, bars & history, bub!

What if you stopped buying PM's for a year?

For starters, blood in my alcohol stream.
I remain diversified, stacking is just forced savings, cash in the freezer type deal.
As for an investment OP (in vid) is undeniably correct, PMs suck.
