Nice one silver addict! Whereabouts does that 10oz PM bar fit into the canon of PM bar styles? Is there a particular 'series' it belongs to? Mintage year?
A little more cowboy gold. The $1 gold coin is particularly interesting because for a very long time, better part of a century, you could trade in a silver dollar, with 3/4oz of silver in for this roughly 1/20th gold coin at the bank. They are apparently pretty collectible and this one seems in pretty good condition. I only paid what you normally would for a 1/20th pm coin. And a $10 gold eagle. I'm really starting to get a taste for these old west gold coins when I can get them close to spot. Why wouldn't you have this nearly 150 year stunning old gold coin instead of a half ounce pamp bar if they cost exactly the same?
Tomorrow I should get my 2015 Star Trek James T. Kirk & Enterprise Silver Proof Two-Coin Set. I'll post some pics of the set.

Got some sovs back today that I had sent off for grading. I'm a little ticked off about the cleaned designation as there's no evidence of rubbing, it's just nice and shiny (proof like almost). I would have thought the difference in tone between the open field and the letters indicated an uncleaned coin but it could be worse, aU-cleaned isn't as bad as a plain details (from wear), if someone's "buying the coin not the holder" it's still a nice piece. Probably wouldn't bother me do much except I got back a 57 as xf-cleaned which I thought was a really nice coin. Apart from that though it's a really good result. The ms60 was a surprise and I'm very happy with the large BP au55. An aU58 is nothing to sniff at either. Slowly slowly closing in on an xf or better set, although most of the harder dates are still left, I have a '57 in vf35 and an xf45 '60 but the 58/60/62 and type 1's are still out there for me to find. *Edit: the coins are laying on my bed and the surface is uneven, the "cleaned" coin is reflecting the sun in a way the others aren't, it doesn't look so obviously more shiny than the others when viewed img equal light.
Well these purchases were made before my eye surgery (grateful that it went smoothly!). So no more purchases for awhile! :|
