That's PG&G for ya.. +1 on checking the weight. There was an instance on YouTube where one of the 1-oz'ers was underweight.. They promptly shipped the guy a new one & let him keep the underweight one. P.S. The larger sizes are hotter.
Is it for sale? Somewhere I missed my thousandth post...
I've got a pretty funky one (traditional PG&G stamp) in a larger size. Never thought to weigh it, but I recall it looks the correct weight compared to its brethren. Got a nice concave thing going on, with the middle sunk in lower than the other, but the surrounding sides raised higher than the other. Has some moderate pour lines on top, too. Not as crazy as yours, though..
Prospector's Gold & Gems makes 'em. Can get them directly from them at their site or through eBay, or at some larger US dealers like Apmex & GainesvilleCoins. Not sure where else.
5 oz for sale on the forum http://forums.silverstackers.com/to...poured-silver-bar-prospector-s-gold-gems.html
Posted this before in an earlier thread, but definitely worth a repeat. This is the guy who got the underweight one.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugtgutgedS0
He's certainly a "stacker's stacker." Has a gold budget but plows it into Ag. Recommend watching some of his other vids..
That video is epic, I like the poured bars since you can run them through your hands without worry about tarnishing them. If the weight is correct I would keep itm has character and isn't THAT bad looking haha. Looks like the other bars brother that got hooked on crack.
I weighed it and it is very slightly heavier than the good one: Good bar: 1.00 ounces Crazy bar: 1.02 ounces
