    Hi,

I've been running across these bars once in a while and I was wondering who makes them, where and whether they're of good quality:

They have that Morgan Dollar design, but I've seen similar bars only with different emblem. Their price per ounce is generally quite good.
Privately minted, as I have read, just not sure exactly who makes them... I've seen several variations on this design.
What are your opinions about these? Does anyone here own such bars?

What are your opinions about these?

Yes, yes... Morgan bars. Sorry, I had two identical threads, now I edited the first entry.

I knew that they're privately-minted "Morgan Bars", but by whom? And where?

Does any of you have any of these?

On some photos they look quite good, on others, the bars look quite poor and I'm not sure if it's the photo or the bars...

  6. I posted in the clone thread but to answer the important question here.
I have a number of Morgan bars, one and ten ounce, and the quality is consistently good with all of them.
    IMO they are good value.

I am not sure if these people are a real mint or not or they are just a dealer selling them under their own name. But I bought some from a place called Westminster Mint according to their website they are made with silver supplied from Heraeus. The bars I bought were okay but not as good as a lot of my other ones. Just my opinion some may love them and some may not. If I come across some and see something else that might be the same price or just a little higher I get the others but thats just me.

Google suggests these are made by Highland Mint (USA).

In recent weeks I saw that 'Ampex' about 5 times appearing in threads, at 1st I assumed it was a typo for Apmex, but I start to doubt?
