The $69 is an Auction. I expect that one for $99 buy it now will get gobbled up soon.

The $99 one wasn't up on eBay when the crazy bidding was made at $132.51

Which makes me wonder those who were outbid, will they still see $99 here or take a step back?
Will be interesting to watch the price trends over the next few weeks.

Yea, if the bidder with the 2nd highest bid on the 123.51 auction sees the one for $99. Logically they should buy it, as they were prepared to pay that for it. But people on eBay do not bid logically, I have seen people over bid loads of times, probably because they did not want to loose. Psychology takes over.

I once sold a single pack of batteries on eBay for over 6 + postage. Cost me 1 from the 1 store. Why the person bid such a high amount when there were loads of other batteries on eBay for cheap I don't know. I felt so bad for the guy that I gave him an extra pack for free.

No numbers on the Carded Koala's and there's no number on the Australian Stock Horse carded coin.

Check Perth's collector Blog...it's there for the viewing.

Too bad they are not numbered, just don't get that, I guess its an Aussie thing. All you Aussies should flood the Perth Mint with emails/or in person if you live close to complain. We in North America prefer the mintage numbers( first time I have seen no mintage numbers on a "limited Mintage item"). It will affect its value , Instead of $150 plus its now a $99 item , well it still could reach $200 I guess depending on demand and availability .

    Oh bollocks emailing Perth!

Ya should have investigated what Perth's other carded coins get on the market.

There's only a thousand of them (Stock Horsies) and if you follow the carded Koala coins issued by Perth, none of them have numbers yet...they command very good prices, especially the carded coins with a low mintage.

Go try find a 2012 Carded Koala that has double the mintage of The Australian Stock Horse, you won't find one or...if you do you'll pay about 100+ buck; the older carded Koala coins fetch a lot more.

The RAM carded Kangaroo coins, also fetch excellent prices, they aren't numbered either.

The stocky should be the first of the series, so....DYODD :D

Hahaha. :D Yeah, I think that is more or less thing of psychology. Most often 1st item is most expensive. People enter higher amount to increase the chance of getting the item and probably don't even notice second item.
And eBay search filed works strangely too. I have few pages constantly opened and I hit refresh from time and time and listed item isn't found. And then suddenly you reopen/refresh the browser and there is item which will end in less than 24 hours... :)

I've bought several coins and only few of them are numbered. :) Fiji Meteorite has number on the edge. This would be very nice for those which mintage is 1000 or less.

Me too but they have mintage's higher then 10,000 usually, Ya if they could put the mintage on the coin itself for very low mintage's , that would be sweet. I must look up that Fiji Meteorite sounds interesting.

It looks interesting although you can barely see it. :) My father has one credit card holder and it has engraved number. It's pretty lame that more coins don't have it. :) You would be a least sure if you get two coins with the same number that one is faked. :p

I think that Meteorite series isn't working so good. I think that around 10 coins were released on 2 years. Crazy. :)

Yeah. Also, ebay notify you when you were outbid, but never when there's an lower-priced item listed.

Id be happy with 50. Sell a bunch of them all at $99 for a quick profit. Use the profit to buy more silver.
