This is the second auction of "All Gold" items.

This time it's a classic bullion investments in the form of Krugerrands, and pure gold from Perth Mint.

During the bull market in gold of the 1970s, the gold Krugerrand quickly became the primary choice for gold investors worldwide. Between 1974 and 1985, it is estimated that 22 million gold Krugerrand coins were imported into the United States alone. By 1980 the Krugerrand accounted for 90% of the global gold coin market. This huge success of the Krugerrand encouraged other gold-producing countries to mint and issue gold bullion coins of their own, including the Canadian Gold Maple Leaf in 1979, the Australian Nugget in 1987, the Chinese Gold Panda in 1982, the American Gold Eagle in 1986, and the British Britannia coin in 1987.

Starting bids are below spot price based on the current spot price of $3,119/oz.
For comparison, dealer prices for 1 ounce Krugerrands are $3,520 to over $4,000 depending on the year minted and the dealer.

Auction and Sale Conditions

1. A bid at the "Buy It Now" price will be an immediate sale and end the bidding for that lot.
2. The auction for each lot will end after 8pm AEDT* (NSW/VIC/ACT) Saturday 2 March 2024 and once there have been no bids on that lot for 5 minutes, provided it has not been sold with a "Buy It Now" bid.
3. Times of bids will be determined by Silver Stackers time stamps of posts.
4. Minimum bid increment of $1.
5. Payment required within two business days by PayID or bank transfer, or optionally cash for face-to-face transactions.
6. Postage at choice and risk of buyer, or F2F in a library or shopping centre in any of the central Brisbane suburbs.
7. If postage is required I will post items promptly once payment is received in my bank account, within one or two business days.
