Just finished watching "Leave the world behind", has a similar social breakdown theme. I thought it was a good movie.
It seemed to be an attempt to fit as many small fragments of conspiracy theories into the one place and thereby discredit them all, or diminish the impact if one comes true.
I saw it differently, to me they made it come across as credible. But it was a vague movie and left it to the viewer to fill in the gaps, so I can see how different people will end up with a different conclusion. One person will say it’s a warning for things to come, another will say they are trying to discredit things and another person will say it’s just a movie.
The Baltimore bridge collapse is like the scene from Leave the world behind. It was only a matter of time before this kind of stuff started to happen. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/06/27/hackers-can-now-bring-cargo-ships-and-planes-to-a-grinding-halt.html
You can see the ship loses power, then when power comes back online the ship changes direction and aims for the bridge post.
