84.85 grams solid gold melted buttons..from the Palmer River..looking for $7000..well under spot..including express post..
At nearly 3 oz i thought it was a good deal ..asking $8,100 well under spot...or am i getting something wrong
Id have to crunch the numbers, but 3 Oz is 93 grams. It does seem cheap The main reason I wouldn't buy is because its not refined/moulded and/or packaged. Some people would ask for XRF, but of the reseller didn't have one, it might make it less appealing. I'm just throwing ideas out there. Or maybe people really are tapped out financially.
Maybe 2 reasons. 1.Purity not verified by XRF 2.Cash Flow issues Take them into a Gold dealer you should get 8% under at the worst or get them XRFed to ease peoples fear of buying an unknown purity. Included is the CORELOGIC data re current Cash Flow
Hi mate, I avoid nuggets for purity reasons which makes it difficult to offload in a hurry. Can get spot any day for .999 fine at dealer. perhaps speak to a jeweller about refining and melting into a standard size
Ok people thanks for your comments...so i took the pieces to a jeweller..they had a unit where they placed the gold on and a probe placed on top..they said it was between 22 and 24 K.... unfortunately hervey bay is only a small town and no xrf
