I stack gold, but I finally bought my first silver couple days ago... some 10oz kookaburra's ! yay Happened to see this on youtube and had a chuckle, I'm a tadpole in the silver department but it's growing!
I was like you until recently, very heavy gold, but GSR swapped into silver and glad I did. My take on silver is that I can use it to get more gold, and that it's more undervalued than gold. That's about it.
Yeh, I was umming and arring for a year. Eveytime I wanted to buy, I stopped short because of the delivery costs, storage issues etc. probably excuses when I think about it... Now that put my toes in the water, I should be ok now i hope!
I was similar when I started stacking. I first bought a gold coin, then realized silver was way more undervalued, and switched to stacking only silver since then.
I congratulate you! I'm sure you made the right choice. After all, often silver is simply underestimated.
You probably need to add 3 or 4 zeros to each whale... whales should be able to move markets. The only notable influence you have with 5000oz is bragging rights that you could convince your wife (or hide it?!) to have that much weight in Silver!
