Just go straight to ACCC, paypal might pull their head in once a complaint has been made against them
That is a black joke and F.U. from the scammers who know they're untouchable. From experience forgive and forget. Awful time to be ripped off but nothing good comes of burning yourself up about this. Sympathies.
Yes ACCC is a great option.Report this to 'Report cyber'[formerly Acorn] as well.Their website is https://www.cyber.gov.au/report
Just about to file something with ACCC or the financial ombudsman against PayPal. I just can't believe there operating procedures. I purchased nespresso and because my account was negative they tacked on the coins transaction value without my approval (the invoice doesn't even show the coin amount)
No bro, you go to local police station.... bring some doughnuts to make them happy.... all those 'chief wiggums' wannabes will surely be happy with your presence, with doughnuts of course...
Not being pessimistic, but PayPal would say that buyer did not receive the item as per described, thus they told buyer to resend item back to seller and receive refund....
Yes but I have evidence showing the buyer tampered with the coin as he has two contradictory images. That’s why I can’t believe PayPal sides with him.
After racing the parcel with the glasses yesterday it looks like the scammer made his second mistake.....but an absolute doozy! The idiot actually wrote the description “collection glasses” and not coin. Meaning he can’t dispute he never sent the coin back!!
Indeed I did. I’m just waiting for their response. There is no way in earth they couldn’t give my money back now. I just can’t believe he slipped up like that
Nice I'm wondering if this isn't a large scale scam , possibly involving numerous people ? . Someone has accidentally sent back the wrong bogus item, meant for someone else they've scammed out of expensive collection glasses ?
probably part of a larger crime group. The inner packaging weirdly had another Aussie address on it...
