https://goldsilver.com/blog/bullion-shortages-coming-gold-silver-update/ U.s. article do we think Australia will experience the same?
I always take most of Mike Maloney's commentary with a grain of salt given he is a bullion dealer, thus has a vested interest in ramping up demand etc...He could be right but I'd like to hear other bullion commentators weight in with the same view first before taking MM at face value.
when silver stacker members become tight asse's selling silver thats when ya know you have a shortage out there.
Everyone is pretty much sold out or suspended trading. They really want everyone out of the market , best to just stay the course.
Businesses make money on moving inventory. If there's no new inventory coming in due to low prices, they will be burning rental and wages. If I'm a mine, I'll keep the metal in warehouses rather than sell to the refiners at this kind of pricing.
Called Bullion Now today and they told me that due to huge demand they have pulled most offerings to catch up on orders and work out what was sold in store and online. Gold Stackers are not even answering the phone...
They must be overwhelmed because I have orders since Fri that they haven't even acknowledged that they got the money hope they catch up soon so I can load up a bit more.
It usually takes a few business days. As long as you quoted your order number in reference you'll be fine.
Look at ABC Bullion. Circa 50%+ of their gold items out of stock. Can't get a 1oz bar up to 1 kg or greater inc PAMP. https://www.abcbullion.com.au/store/gold
Always happens after every major drop. Money waiting on the sideline. But how much? I wonder if we had a series of drops with small rises in between would the demand still be there or would it scare too many potential investors?
Anyone been able to contact Bullion Now? Can't get through to them and they have not replyed to my email. Trying to find out what is happening with my orders.
Given the foot traffic they had last week, I would say they are still catching up. They are a team of three in a small shop front. The land line is always busy so I would just wait for an email reply
Guys The Perth Mint has a few (Over 250) 1oz Silver 2020 Kangaroo coins for sale. I don't think they'll last long but.................... http://www.perthmintbullion.com/au/Buy-Silver-Coins/1oz.aspx?size=18
Been interesting watching his recent videos. It was 100% bullish on silver until the recent plummet, now he's kinda quiet on it, and you can tell that he knows it's not going to recover any time soon. He'll likely be right on the long game with silver, but it seems that long game just keeps extending.
