My goodness i sold SO SO much silver last year as i was going to buy back more when it hit $13, AND I AM STILL WAITING,lol. No biggie ,but just goes to show how wrong we can be guessing markets. I was way way wrong about silver last year.
i done the same with some silver buys in 2011 @$33 & was waiting for the magic $50 mark i was sure it was going to go past the hunt bros high ...... we all know how that ended
It’s freaky how silver just sits there without really moving while cryptos and the markets chimp out.
Got into ripple around 30cents....sold some at $4, sold some at $3.80....so these drops don’t bother me as what I hold is still up....waiting for money to hit BTC markets so can buy some more..
No one really cares about silver, it's just an industrial commodity to most Gold is and always will be the safe "backup" currency, but even that has pretty much done bugger-all during all this.
is it ? im only here for the witty banter ? Its a bit hard to get excited over a 10c rise or even a $1 rise if ya have a 1000oz its only 1K ....big investment for small return .Im still holding some like most people here but theres not much to talk about really i miss the "to da moon" days .hopefully things will move north soon . Its easier to talk about things that move either north or south .when its flatlining its like watching grass grow or paint dry...
Yes....witty banter wins the day. Ripple would be far more interesting if it was "Choc.... Ripple .....Cake" with added recipe of course
For those interested. Guaranteed pay-out. Ingredients 500ml (2 cups) thickened cream 1 teaspoon caster sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla essence 250g packet Arnott's Choc Ripple Biscuits Select all ingredients Method Step 1 Using an electric mixer, beat cream, sugar and vanilla to firm peaks. Step 2 To assemble cake, using a spatula, spread one-third of cream mixture down the length of a platter to make the base. Starting from one end, stand 1 biscuit upright on its edge and spread with cream. Place another biscuit beside it and sandwich together. Repeat with more biscuits and cream to make a row. Step 3 Continue building the cake with biscuits and one-third of cream. Spread remaining cream over the cake to cover. Chill for 6 hours to set.
I've jumped back into a short term trade with XRP @ USD0.94. Will be watching USD1.16 closely for a potential break out.
I wish i had taken your advice and waited a few more days as i could have come in at $0.85 (ish) but all in all i am quite happy that i did jump in then. I am still up the creek with my ETH however, but i am confident it will come back (eventually).
I'm just glad to be over a 1usd again. It was a lot more fun passing it on the way up. Not going to lie even knowing a big correction was coming after flying for 25 cents to $3.50 in a few weeks hitting 0.60 was brutal, even for the crypto space.
I raised my stop limit a couple of days ago to about USD1.01. Hopefully get a break out soon, there’s enough movement in the other major coins, just have to wait for Ripple’s turn.
Good plan. I should have set sells for my XRP because i could have been out and back in again. I have just been sitting on it and checking to see where the price is. I really need to get day tradey with it . I was waiting for $1.40 but if i was a bit smarter id have sold at $1.10 and bought back in now.
I mainly use Binance for my trades. You can set stop limits to protect yourself from losses and to take profits when you reach targets. You can also choose to sell 25, 50, 75 or 100% of your asset.
If you have the time and effort available, Day Tradey can be very lucrative. The volatility in crypto's is a godsend for those inclined, and even those with just a little practice with charts can make a veritable killing with even less than a half decent stake, just look at the daily and weekly swings on the top twenty alone to see what can be achieved for the wary, then go dig in on the absolutely crazy shit that go's on in some exchanges with the rest of the charts to see some of the batshit crazy returns you can get compared to a Casino. I've personally made up to $1700 AU profit just going to make a cuppa on single trade and then doubled that again later on in the day, all the while playing with profit from a set trade the night before. Mind you it does get a tad exhausting after a while and a lot of research, research, research, research and constant monitoring to keep on top of it all with the swings that can happen hourly at times. But just look at the 24hr changes alone in the top 100 on https://coinmarketcap.com/ and some of the massive 100->600% + more that can happen with some of the lower rung Crypto's in the space of 24 hr's. A loose K here or there on the right one can make some massive returns.... Or a lost loose K as well though....
I agree. I have not had time to do that though and still hold the Ripple i bought, though looking at the charts i could have sold UP and re bought if i bothered to put the time in.
Came across this today. https://www.businessinsider.com.au/santander-ripple-money-transfer-app-2018-3
