Also regarding Bitcoin's slow blocks and high fees, this is a feature the Core team want to keep. In the beginning i was against it, but now I'm starting to really understand their reasons, now that i know they don't want Bitcoin to be used for everyday transactions.
Bitcoin Core are leading the premier crypto to its inevitable demise. It was designed as the original crypto CURRENCY and it's not a currency any more.
Core decided they wanted Bitcoin to be used in a different way, so Bitcoin Cash just made a new fork to keep with the original plan. What's the big deal? It's a free market and you get to chose where you want to put your money. Stuff like this was always going to happen, so i don't know why people are so shocked when it does happen. It's a free market, something we are not use too these days. So when people can't agree they take different directions. But what i find most funny, is Bitcoin Cash is trying to stay true to the original design, but most people are attacking them. Also i don't think Bitcoin (core) will die, as i really feel they are designing a system for the big guys (high value transactions, low volume). They don't want us little people using it and the way they do that is by making fees cost a lot.
BCH is flying right now. BTC remaining unaffected though so far. I wonder if the upcoming weekend might be another round of BTC vc BCH
yes another round of bch pumping is in order. btc difficulty will adjust soon and bitmain will move its hashrate to bch, spam the mempool and spread fud about transaction speeds and cost while pumping bch. its free $$$ for those following ver and co's matra of buy low sell high on the pump. oh its also satoshis vision and the real bitcoin
operation dragonslayer was a fizzer, roger ver showing his true colours, youre not a millionaire so dont matter bcahs will always be an alt.
Ugh. Is that supposed to be like an interview from a journalist? It was a train wreck and I only lasted 6 minutes. Maybe that guy should get a job on the Today show or the Project or somewhere that hatchet jobs are considered a good substitute for journalism.
That host is a joke and had very little knowledge of anything. What a massive core cry baby snowflake.
lol better youre both out of crypto, or on stage at the next bitconnect conference, please dont cry over bcash. maybe i should put all my cryptos in the tether safe haven?
oh dear, poor roger is now not even backed by his community https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/7gariz/as_cripple_coin_is_passing_10000_satoshi_dice_is/ creating an altcoin just to avoid censorship in r/bitcoin then telling people what it should be called is ironic. and to everyone visting bitcoin.com and expecting to download a bitcoin wallet, you are being mislead https://themerkle.com/bitcoin-com-wallet-causes-controversy-among-cryptocurrency-users/
Good interview with Roger Ver. You would never hear the bank loving Core team talk about the things he talks about. It gets more interesting half way in.
That interview was a little bit more professionally done. Ahem There are few libertarians here like @mmm....shiney! and @bordsilver who aren't really into crypto but might be interested to watch it. I agree the 2nd half once he gets past the Bitcoin 101 stuff is much more interesting.
Just sold my BTC I bought in 2013 a few days ago. Cryptos were a light bulb moment for me back then. Willrocks and I spent a good few months previously trading good natured barbs on the topic. It wasn’t until I managed to get past the claims that they were “Gold 2.0” that I understood the libertarian nature of crypto currency. Shame that thread was lost when SS migrated. Edit to add: shame I also traded most of my BTC and all my LTC for DGC at the end of 2013. Live and learn I guess.
